Frequently Asked Questions

I’ll always be available to answer questions through the contact form, but sometimes you need answers quicker than I can respond. For this reason, I’ve included a list of answers to some of the most common questions that I receive. If you don’t find your answer here, please feel free to contact me.

  • All wholesale requests can be sent to Dinky Dyes or ICG, and they would be happy to arrange your new order!

  • My website is exclusively for the sale of digital PDFs. That being said, printed copies of my patterns can be found at many local needlework shops and at any online shops for purchase.

  • If you found an error, whether it’s a missing page, misprinted pages, the wrong pattern, or something else, please let me know and then reach out to the shop where you purchased the pattern and follow their steps to fix the issue.

General Questions:

  • Members must log in to my website and download the pattern (and freebies, too, if you want them) from the special club-exclusive web page each month. I do not send out email links at this time (though you will receive an email with the download links only after you’ve checked out.)

    Here's a quick step-by-step guide to follow for each month’s download.

    1) Go to https://thestitchdesigner.com/. If you haven't already logged in to my website, a "Log In" button will appear at the top of the navigation bar next to the "Cart" icon.

    2) If you're already logged in, this will be replaced with an "Account" button. Click that button and follow the steps on the screen.

    3) Once you're logged in, a sidebar will pop out on the right side of the screen. This pop-up lists the clubs that you're subscribed to.

    4) In this pop-out, click the "Pages" button, and multiple links will appear: One for the club page and one for the club shop. Click on the button of the name of the club.

    5) You will arrive on the home page for the club. If you scroll down to the second section titled "Newest Releases," you'll find the monthly download.

    6) Click the "Add to Cart" button that's located underneath the pattern image.

    7) Scroll down the page further to the "Freebies" section.

    8) Click the "Add to Cart" button here, too.

    9) Scroll back up to the top navigation and click on the "Cart" icon/button.

    10) Follow the checkout prompts on the screen to complete the download(s), and then you'll receive both the pattern and freebie.

    You’ll need to follow these steps each month when the new patterns are released.

    4) In this pop-out, click the "Pages" button, and multiple links will appear: One for the club page and one for the club shop. Click on the button of the name of the club.

    5) You will arrive on the club’s home page. If you scroll down to the third section, you'll find the monthly Promo Code to copy.

    6) Then you can navigate to https://thestitchdesigner.com/shop, add your chosen pattern(s) to the cart, and then use the Promo Code that you copied and paste it into the applicable spot at checkout.

    *The code can only be used on the regular shop, and cannot be used for Club Subscriptions or purchasing Club Patterns.

    **The code can be used multiple times during the month of eligibility.

  • The fee you pay is for access to the exclusive pattern, freebies, and discount code for the month in which you signed up only. If you like a pattern from a previous month that was released when you weren’t yet a member, that pattern is still available to you, just at a cost. These patterns remain exclusive to members of the specific club membership for at least a year after their initial release.

  • Unfortunately, my Content Management System (CMS) doesn’t allow PayPal to be used for recurring payments. At this time, Stripe is the only payment option. If this changes, it will be announced in future communication through social media, flosstube, or the newsletter.

  • Discount codes can only be used in the main shop where you can purchase general released charts. You cannot use the 20% discount code for any club subscriptions or club subscription patterns.

    3) Once you're logged in, a sidebar will pop out on the right side of the screen. This pop-up lists the clubs that you're subscribed to.

    4) At the bottom of this sidebar, click the “Account Settings” button.

    5) On the next page, click on the “Payments” option.

    6) Here you’ll be able to remove/delete payment methods.

    7) Click “Add New Payment Method” and follow the steps on the screen to complete the change.
